Nurses are very hardworking, polite, caring and listen. Your care and comfort is their priority. Wards are clean and tidy nothing is too much for them & care workers. However, the food which is also important to us in our recovery is always the same, the porridge is cold and not cooked through, there is no toast. The soft option is more like gruel, not nice, diabetic dessert is rubbish. Can eat cake & puds within limit, never offered. Coffee helps keep you awake but never offered warm milky horlicks, hot choc, just tea and coffee, all needs sorting, no wonder so much wasted food.

Very helpful (Sue deserves a medal) but all the staff were great. When I came in I couldn't walk but I am going home 3 days later. The staff cannot be praised enough. Some drip machines.

The team on A2 are excellent they work as a team not like any other wards. Been on A8 etc this is like a hotel this ward.
